LAW OF THREE (89) Alignment with the Third Force.

 

“The political and religious culture wars of our era could be eased by the simple courtesy of the Law of Three:  (1) the enemy is never the problem but the opportunity; (2) the problem will never be solved through eliminating or silencing the opposition but through creating a new field of possibility large enough to hold the tension of the opposites and launch them in a new direction.”

The capacity to mediate consciously as third force belongs to the power of presence.   Presence can hold the tension of opposites and launch them into a new direction.

Presence can unlock a stagnant or immobilised situation and turn it into an evolving unit by holding apart all contradictions, loving enemies, separating the positive from negative, and waiting for creative direction.  (see blog no.80 )   

Waiting feeds an alert, flexible and reconciling presence.  It strengthens our capacity to stay present, allowing space for the unknown to participate in a conscious unfolding triad.

With the surrender of our negativity the interweaving of three active forces gives rise to a conscious triad in a new dimension, referred to as No.4.

Cynthia further reflects on the troubles of duality. “Don’t be afraid of the darkness, the things that look like they are going in the wrong direction. The soul has to go through this overwhelm.  So often I realise the difficulty was exactly the thing that needed to happen in order for there to be clarity.  Trust that even when it seems our world is moving backward – away from justice and peace – this friction can serve The Law of Three, moving in brand new direction”.
